What are three reasons for goal self improvement and motivation to reach your goals?

Many people think that reaching their personal goals is a difficult process. Their are many methods to choose from. You have to find a method that fits your life style and your personality. I find that, this is the hardest think to do. Their will be many factors to consider when choose a method to follow: family, work, relationships, time and more.

Here are three to consider:

1. Inspiration:

Inspiration is critical to staying motivated. If you are not interested in your personal goal, improving it will be difficult. Your motivation level will never be high and you will not be able to sustain interest for very long. Taking an honest look at your motivational level will help you gauge whether you will succeed. Ask yourself :Are you excited about achieving a personal goals? If you are not if will be difficult to accomplish.

Keep your goals close to your heart. Most individuals will lose steam and grow tired because their goal doesn’t have any personal passion. You passion to help you stay focused during the difficult times. If you do not like your goal, then think how you can re-focus your personal goal to better match your needs. You may need to change the goal or rewrite it. If inspiration is missing, there will not be any motivation. .

2. Personal goal setting:

Once you decide on a goal setting method you should include short and long-term goals. If you don’t set goals, you won’t have a definite path of self improvement. Take the time to write your goals. A goal setting plan may sound daunting, but it is really nothing more than goals, strategies and implementation.

Include mini-goals that can be accomplished in weeks as well as grand-goals that may take years to complete. Refer to your your goal sheets throughout the year. But can a personal goal worksheet really help motivate you? Of course. Written goals will make you feel more in control. It will also free you from having to restart your goal process every single day.

3.Goal support buddy:

Another important factor in getting and staying motivated is to find a goal support buddy. When taking on personal goal setting having someone to encourage you and hold your hand can make the difference between success and failure. Doing this process alone is one of the most difficult parts. You can never be on your way to self improvement without the help of others. Mutual buddy support is a great motivator. Make it easier on yourself by find a compatible buddy in person or online. Even when your personal goals are not related, you will often find some goal that you have in common. Many successful goal buddies state that when they found the right person it was a turning point in their ability to reach their personal goals. Working together, goal buddies can help each other solve problems faster and more efficiently. Sharing ideas, expertise and experience is also an invaluable aspect of motivation and self improvement. Your own personal goal buddy will help re-energize you when the burdens of your goals seem too much. With your goal buddy you can accomplish more goals in less time and probably have more fun in the process. You will feel more motivated to accomplish self improvement goals when you know you are not alone. Remember to celebrate all successes no matter how big or small.

Using Self Help Motivation To Visualize Your Gaols

Brought to you by the team at Self Help Motivation.net

Are you using self help motivation to set your life goals? Is goal setting even important?

  • Life’s Journey

If you’ve ever set out to drive a long distance to a specific destination, did you use a map? Seems like a silly question I know, but would you agree that without the map you would probably have got lost along the way? Yet many people try to journey through life without a map and wonder why they feel lost.

Goal setting is after all just as simple as reading a map although when it comes to setting goals, you get to create the map. Once you have created your life map and have it clearly written out and know what you want and where you want to go, it’s time to follow your map.

  • The Minds Eye

A road map is a visual tool. It provides you with text, pictures and symbols to help you navigate the terrain ahead, but vision can also help you with your life map except in this case you use your internal vision.

Of all our five senses, that of vision is the most used and we tend to respond more to what we see than to what we hear. You can fill your mind with images and change those images anytime you want to. Athletes have been doing this for years. They will vividly visualize the race being run, crossing the finishing line ahead of everyone else. A golfer will vividly visualize his ball following the perfect line and dropping into the cup before he or she steps foot on the golf course. A soccer player will vividly visualize the ball curling into the corner of the net before taking a free kick.

  • Paint A Picture

Using visualization creatively is not just confined to athlete’s or the sporting arena. Anyone can do it. It just takes a little practice. Your subconscious can’t tell the difference between an actual event and a repeatedly imagined event. If you constantly visualize successful outcomes, that is what you will get. Look at your list of goals and clearly picture what it is that you wish to achieve, the clearer and more focused the better. Soon your creative subconscious will enable you to succeed.

  • Can You See Yourself Doing It?

Find somewhere quite, where you can relax and you wont be disturbed. Picture yourself working at the goal you have in mind and make sure that you are in the picture. Visualize all the pieces dropping into place effortlessly, visualize the successful outcome. For example, you may have an impending job interview so visualize yourself prior to the interview feeling cool, calm and collected. See yourself in the interview, answering questions easily, allowing the interviewer’s to come to the clear understanding that you are the right person for the job. See their faces smiling as you shake hands, knowing that the job is yours. Remember. What you visualize is what you get. Sound crazy? Believe me it works. This is a very powerful way to use self help motivation.

  • It Makes Sense

When your visualizing a successful outcome don’t forget to use all of your senses. In the above example for instance you can visualize the comforting smell and taste of your favorite drink, brought to you while you wait to go into your interview. You can visualize hearing the excitement in the voices of your interviewer’s as they realize that your the person that they want. You can feel the warmth of their handshake as they greet you.

Although it may seem a little presumptuous of me, I know that you’ve enjoyed reading this article. How do I know? because I visualized writing this article before I sat down at my laptop. I visualized that it would provide you the reader with some useful information and of course, I used self help motivation and visualized you enjoying it.
