Using self help motivation to achieve abundance is not difficult to do.

Most everybody would like to know ways of creating wealth and abundance. There has been a lot of information on this subject to be found on the Internet of late and many people are beginning to experiment with this truly useful belief system.

Here are three great tips on how to create wealth and abundance.

1… Visit Youtube

This might seem like a strange place to start our journey, but affirming what we want out of life doesn’t have to be restricted to being written down on a piece of paper.

You will be amazed at how many videos have been dedicated to achieving abundance. Some are songs about wealth and good living while others are of the self help motivation type and these are free for you to watch and listen to as often as you wish.

Here’s an example. Search for the term “money magnet” in Youtube and you will find many excellent video’s that will help you to attract wealth.
Remember they are free to watch so take as long as you like.

2… Positively Think Positive

You get what you constantly think about so don’t fill your mind with negative thoughts. Instead fill your mind with thoughts of good relationships, abundant wealth, good fortune, generosity and anything else that makes you feel good.

3… The Correct Mindset

In order to achieve wealth and abundance you need to surround yourself with a positive environment. Surround yourself with positive people and beautiful things. This is easier to do than you might imagine. A visit an art gallery, museum or a walk in the park will put you in the mood for using self help motivation to create wealth and abundance.

Are you using self help motivation to set your life goals? Is goal setting even important?

  • Life’s Journey

If you’ve ever set out to drive a long distance to a specific destination, did you use a map? Seems like a silly question I know, but would you agree that without the map you would probably have got lost along the way? Yet many people try to journey through life without a map and wonder why they feel lost.

Goal setting is after all just as simple as reading a map although when it comes to setting goals, you get to create the map. Once you have created your life map and have it clearly written out and know what you want and where you want to go, it’s time to follow your map.

  • The Minds Eye

A road map is a visual tool. It provides you with text, pictures and symbols to help you navigate the terrain ahead, but vision can also help you with your life map except in this case you use your internal vision.

Of all our five senses, that of vision is the most used and we tend to respond more to what we see than to what we hear. You can fill your mind with images and change those images anytime you want to. Athletes have been doing this for years. They will vividly visualize the race being run, crossing the finishing line ahead of everyone else. A golfer will vividly visualize his ball following the perfect line and dropping into the cup before he or she steps foot on the golf course. A soccer player will vividly visualize the ball curling into the corner of the net before taking a free kick.

  • Paint A Picture

Using visualization creatively is not just confined to athlete’s or the sporting arena. Anyone can do it. It just takes a little practice. Your subconscious can’t tell the difference between an actual event and a repeatedly imagined event. If you constantly visualize successful outcomes, that is what you will get. Look at your list of goals and clearly picture what it is that you wish to achieve, the clearer and more focused the better. Soon your creative subconscious will enable you to succeed.

  • Can You See Yourself Doing It?

Find somewhere quite, where you can relax and you wont be disturbed. Picture yourself working at the goal you have in mind and make sure that you are in the picture. Visualize all the pieces dropping into place effortlessly, visualize the successful outcome. For example, you may have an impending job interview so visualize yourself prior to the interview feeling cool, calm and collected. See yourself in the interview, answering questions easily, allowing the interviewer’s to come to the clear understanding that you are the right person for the job. See their faces smiling as you shake hands, knowing that the job is yours. Remember. What you visualize is what you get. Sound crazy? Believe me it works. This is a very powerful way to use self help motivation.

  • It Makes Sense

When your visualizing a successful outcome don’t forget to use all of your senses. In the above example for instance you can visualize the comforting smell and taste of your favorite drink, brought to you while you wait to go into your interview. You can visualize hearing the excitement in the voices of your interviewer’s as they realize that your the person that they want. You can feel the warmth of their handshake as they greet you.

Although it may seem a little presumptuous of me, I know that you’ve enjoyed reading this article. How do I know? because I visualized writing this article before I sat down at my laptop. I visualized that it would provide you the reader with some useful information and of course, I used self help motivation and visualized you enjoying it.

5 More Ways to Manage Stress Through Self Help Motivation

You can use self help motivation to manage stress.

As I’ve said in a previous article, perhaps you’ve heard it said that there is no such thing as “stress” or that stress is only of the imagination and while there is some truth in these statements, stress is, nevertheless, part of our hectic everyday lives and many of us are looking for ways to handle it.

  • Under Pressure

We might assume that if we were leading the perfect life, we could not suffer stress and yet there are many who have achieved those things that they believe give them contentment only to find that they are still stressed out. Some of the people with the most money are the most stressed for example. I’ve even known people who got stressed because they had nothing to worry about! So, while we tend to see stress as coming from the world around us, much of it is created in our own mind. Internal or external, the detrimental physical effects are just the same.

  • Balance

Someone once said “When the wheel of life gets out of round, the ride gets bumpy”. So how can we manage stress? How can we bring balance back into out lives?

Here are 5 more ways of dealing with stress that will help you enjoy a calmer and more balanced way of life.

  • 1. The Best Medicine

Nothing beats stress like a good belly laugh. When we laugh our bodies lower stress inducing hormones allowing them to fall to normal levels. So whether you enjoy comedy shows, movies or funny conversations, make sure that you indulge yourself in more of them. In fact, one the best ways to enable self help motivation is to smile a lot and laugh more.

  • 2. There Lies The Rub

Have you ever noticed that when your head gets stressed out, so does your body? We are all familiar with the tense feeling we get around our neck, shoulders and back when we are experiencing stress, and if we let this go on long enough we can actually get used to it and this in turn can result in muscular distortion, headaches and worse. The trick is not to let tension build up in the first place. My way of releasing built up tension is by way of a monthly visit to my chiropractor. Other ways of releasing stress may be regular visits to a masseurs or physio-therapist or by taking a sauna, a hot bath or gentle exercising.

  • 3. Get Away From It All

Many people take a vacation in order to relieve their stress but you don’t have to incur a lot of expense in order to wind down. Drive or walk to your favorite beauty spot and take in a sunset or sit quietly and listen to the sound of nature. If you live in the city and cant get away, listen to soothing music on your headphones.

  • 4. Learn To Daydream

The practice of meditation, is thought by some, to be a bit “out there” yet meditation can be as simple as daydreaming though there are many forms of meditation. Meditation has been proved to lower blood pressure and improve memory among other benefit’s. Practiced on a regular basis, meditation will leave you feeling happy, nourished and creative.

  • 5. Be Just a Little Selfish

All of the methods of lowering stress have one thing in common, you have to find time for yourself. If you think about your life and all the time you have for others, surely you can take some time for yourself. It may only be twenty minutes a day but it’s the time out that you deserve. Time to use your self help motivation and deal with the stress of life.
